Tennessee native Callie McKinney has had a sincere passion for creativity her entire life. After graduating with a degree in Music from Belmont University in 2008, she joined the Harvest Sound community in Nashville to pursue family, healing, true identity, and a deeper purpose of creativity in her life.
She has been part of the core team ever since, becoming the Worship Director for the ministry, living as a musicianary,
and participating as pastoral staff for Thunder School (Harvest Sound's creative arts program). In 2013, she had the opportunity to release her debut EP, “Whirlwind,” recorded at Ricky Skaggs studio.
Through her songs, she hopes listeners have “tangible encounters with the Father’s heart” wherever they are and whatever season they are in. Her life mission is inspired by Isaiah 61, which says, “proclaim good news to the poor, bind up the brokenhearted, proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners.”
