Thunder School FAQ
Q. WHAT IS THE THUNDER SCHOOL CURRICULUM?
A. The Thunder School curriculum is designed to give students a comprehensive overview of subjects necessary to to equip them for a life of holistic ministry using the creative arts. Some key pillars of the curriculum that will be taught through speaking sessions and experience include: -Worship and Prayer
-Inner Healing using the Restoring the Foundations Ministry Model -Community Living
-Weekly outreach, including:
-Serving at Meal of Hope (free meal for the poor) once a week -Creative and/or prophetic outreach ministering in the inner city, at prisons, drug rehabilitation centers, nursing homes, etc. once a week
Other topics that will be taught include: -Identity
-Intimacy and knowing God’s heart -Character development -Evangelism
-Spirit of excellence (playing skillfully)
-Creative workshops (including but not limited to: songwriting, music production, dance, drama, video production, photography, art, etc.)
Q. WHEN ARE ALL PAYMENTS DUE?
A. To secure your space at Thunder School, a deposit is due fourteen days after you receive your acceptance letter. Full tuition must be paid at registration upon arrival.
Q. WHERE WILL I BE LIVING?
A. You will be living dorm rooms. The guys and girls dorms (separate) are large rooms with bunk beds. The facility includes bathrooms, showers and a full kitchen. Couples will need to contact us concerning their accommodations.

Q. DO I HAVE A WEEKLY SCHEDULE?
A. Your weekly school schedule begins Monday at curfew and goes through Sunday after church. Sunday afternoon and Monday are free days.
Q. WHAT DAY SHOULD I ARRIVE?
A. Plan to arrive between 2 and 3:30pm on registration day. The Welcome Dinner will begin at 5pm. Corporate worship will start at 7pm led by our Thunder School Staff. Your family is very welcome to join us! Please RSVP if they will be attending the dinner by no later than August 29, 2017 by e-mailing email@example.com.
Q. WILL MY PARENTS NEED TO GET A HOTEL IF STAYING THE NIGHT?

Q. WILL THERE BE TRANSPORTATION PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL TO AND FROM THE AIRPORT?
A. We ONLY provide transportation for international students. National students will be required to find their own transportation from the airport. Here’s what we suggest:
1) Take a cab to and from the airport. The address is 1419 Clinton St. Each way will cost $25-$30.

For those of you who are driving, enter “1419 Clinton Street, Nashville, TN 37203” into your GPS. We will have signs posted outside directing you to registration.
Q. WILL I BE ABLE TO SECURE MY VALUABLES?
A. Yes, but please do not bring expensive jewelry or unnecessary valuables items. Upon request, we will hold your personal cash for you and issue it back as requested.
Q. WILL I BE ABLE TO ATTEND OTHER SUNDAY CHURCH SERVICES? A. No. Attending our weekly Sunday service is an important part of community life and the Thunder School experience.
Q. CAN I BRING A CAR?
A. Yes, it is suggested, if possible. If you don’t have a car you will be required to bring money to contribute for gas. A suggested amount is $25 per month.
Q. CAN I GET A PART-TIME JOB?
A. No. You will be on a full-time schedule for 2 months.
Q. IS THE SCHOOL TUITION TAX DEDUCTIBLE?
A. Checks must be written to Provision International for the payee to receive a tax deduction.
Q. CAN I HAVE EXTRA MONEY SENT TO ME THROUGH PROVISION INTERNATIONAL?
A. Yes. There is a 10% processing fee. If the amount is greater than $50, it must be approved by Thunder School staff.
Q. CAN I ARRIVE EARLY?
A. We discourage early arrival. If it is necessary for you to come early, it must be pre-approved by August 19, 2017. You will be required to work with our staff in preparation for the opening day of Thunder School.
Q. DO I LEAVE THE DAY OF GRADUATION?
A. If you must leave the day of graduation, be sure your living space is completely clean and all of your personal belongings are packed. Do not
leave a mess for someone else to clean up. We prefer you leave the day after graduation.
Q. HOW DO MEALS WORK AT THUNDER SCHOOL?
A. We provide community meals* on campus Tuesday through Friday - you will not have access to the kitchen for personal food prep on these days. You will need to provide your own meals on Saturday, Sunday and Monday - you will have access to the community kitchen on these days. There is a very limited amount of shelf and refrigerator space to store personal food. We recommend only storing enough food for one weekend. You must keep all personal food items labeled with your name and the date. Do not bring more than one grocery bag of dry goods and one grocery bag of refrigerated or frozen items. We suggest you bring an extra $50 per month for groceries.
*Please let us know in advance if you have any special dietary needs or allergies.
Q. DO I NEED TO BRING SPENDING MONEY?
A. Yes. You are required to bring at least an additional $300 for your personal needs, entertainment, and off-campus eating expenses.
